Lead Pastor: Rev. Steve J. Choi

With the conviction that the local church is the hope of the world, Steve planted Crossway. He was commissioned by Sarang Church (where he served as the English Ministry Pastor) to plant Crossway in Sept. of 07. Steve was ordained in 1999 in the Presbyterian Church and is a graduate of Talbot School of Theology (M. Div) and UC Riverside. In 2008, Steve was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity from Ebenezer Theological Seminary (Kerala, India) for his partnership to that ministry. Steve also serves on the board for JAMA. Steve’s two passions are his family and the local church. Steve and his wife Sharon have two daughters, Carissa and Ashley.

Associate Pastor: Rev. Sam Oh

Sam oversees all the internal ministries at Crossway including our "Communities" and Bible Studies. Sam is a graduate of UCLA and Westminster Seminary (M. Div.). An ordained minister (PCA), Sam served at several churches where his ministries included: youth, singles, church-planting, and campus ministry. Sam is married to Susan and they have one daughter, Sophia.

Associate Pastor: Rev. Jonathan "Jun" Park

Jun's influence is felt in many different ministries at Crossway. He started the Crossing (College Ministry) at Crossway and leads the Encounter worship band. He has served in several churches and also served as a campus ministry advisor. After graduating from UCLA, Jun studied at Talbot School of Theology (M. Div) and Gordon Conwell Seminary (Th.M). Jun is married to Verona.

Youth Director: John “JP” Park

JP oversees Crossroad, our youth ministry. Besides leading the youth, JP's other passion is leading worship. He is currently working on his M. Div. at Talbot School of Theology. JP has been overseas for missions to Japan and Thailand.

Crosswalk (Children's) Director: Pauline Wood

Pauline leads the children's ministry at Crossway. After being called into ministry, Pauline studied Christian Education at Azusa, where she is pursuing her master's degree, and served at her home church as the upper elementary dept. director. Her passion is loving children with God's love.

Phillip Cho

Creative Arts Director: Phillip serves as our office manager. His creativity is a great asset to Crossway. He designs all of our print media and oversees our intra-church communication.

Scott Willis

Ministry Associate: Scott manages all our equipment and set up. He also assists the College Ministry in outreach ministry. Scott is a student at Talbot School of Theology and plans to become a full-time missionary.

Karen Park

Toddlers Ministry Director: Karen serves in both the Crosswalk minsitry as the Toddler's Ministry Director and in the Missions Ministry of Crossway. Karen has had the privilege of going on numerous short-term missions trips, culminating in a one year trip to south west China through OMF International. She hopes to be involved in missions in some way throughout the rest of her life.

Jessica Cho

Six Eight Initiative Director: Jessica Cho Jessica has been at Crossway since its inception. She serves a community group leader, one of the praise leaders and is the director of the Six Eight Initiative. Upon graduating from USC with her Master in Social Work, she began working with foster and at-risk youth and families at Olive Crest. Jessica has spent one year in Japan for missions, and has been to Haiti, Thailand and Azerbaijan for short-term missions. Jessica is married to Young Sang. |

Grace Lee

Ministry Intern, Crossway- Irvine: Grace Kim
After graduating from Cal St. Fullerton, Grace spent a year in Thailand working with the local churches. Her ministry focus at Crossway is on the Irvine multi-site. Grace has a heart for the mission- field as she has been overseas several times and the local church. She is a gifted singer and worship leader.

Hudson Lim

Ministry Intern, Crossway- Brea: Hudson Lim
Hudson is currently pursuing a master's degree at Biola which he hopes will prepare him for ministry in a cross-cultural setting one day. Having spent a year in Mongolia doing ministry, Hudson is very missions- minded. Hudson is a gifted drummer and has a keen eye as a photographer.
